Biomass Fuel
Dec 18, 2018

Biomass fuel generally has a calorific value between 3,700 and 5,000 calories per kg, and ash content is less than 5%. Compared with coal, it has the characteristics of easy ignition, fast heating, strong firepower and easy combustion control.

Biomass energy can be understood as a form of solar energy. It is a form of energy in which solar energy is stored in the form of chemical energy in organic matter such as plants, animals and microorganisms, directly or indirectly from the photosynthesis of green plants. Since the first oil crisis occurred in the international market in the 1970s, some developed countries have taken the lead in setting up large-scale collection and utilization of biomass energy, converting it into conventional solid, liquid and gaseous fuels. Nowadays, such inexhaustible and inexhaustible emerging energy sources have been included in the important research questions of China's 13th Five-Year Plan for Renewable Energy Development.According to estimates by scientists, there are 173 billion tons of substances produced by photosynthesis every year. The energy contained in the earth is equivalent to 10-20 times of the total energy consumption in the world, and the utilization rate is less than 3%. According to China's "Renewable Energy Medium and Long-term Development Plan" statistics, the potential of China's biomass resources to be converted into energy can reach 1 billion tons of standard coal, which is known as the "fourth largest" energy source other than coal, oil and natural gas. Biomass is directly re-ignited. Usually, the solid biomass fuel is treated with a biomass pellet machine and then sent to the furnace as a reburning fuel, so that it can be easily burned completely and has a reduced effect.
